Senior Officer Education & Advice

With a background in teaching, combined with experience in delivering energy efficiency advice through managing the Southwark Energy Efficiency Advice Centre, Ros has developed a wide range of advice services for Carbon Descent such as community consultation, educational materials and training packages for community language projects. Heading up the Education and Advice team, Ros is responsible for delivering research projects exploring the issues of climate change, including working with focus groups and developing practical tools to help individuals and communities change their behaviour.

Carbon Descent experience:

  • Energy efficiency advice and awareness campaign for non-English speakers,
  • Project development and management, including developing behaviour change tools and hosting climate change focus groups,
  • Management and delivery of ECHO Action.

Qualifications:

PGCE in Modern Languages
Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental and Development Education
City and Guilds Diploma in Energy Awareness
