Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Lead Carbon Consultant with a strong policy background, excellent project management and business development skills. Please view the job description and submit application and equalities montioring form by Tuesday 6th April.

Contract

We are looking for experienced associate Energy and Carbon Consultants and hope to build up a pool of contractors to work either full or part time. We have an immediate need for contract work in March, April and May 2010. If you are available for immediate start, please view the job details and submit your CV and equalities monitoring form as soon as possible.

We work in four teams; sustainable transport, education and advice, consultancy and insulation and the core team that keeps the organisation ticking over.

We look for support in the areas outlined below.

Project related knowledge areas:

  • Sustainable energy, renewables, low carbon technology
  • Environment and climate change education
  • Community work and behaviour change
  • Sustainable transport, travel planning, alternative fuels
  • Building services
  • Domestic energy assessments

Skills:

  • Research - desk, phone, on-street, surveys
  • Energy modelling - using Access, Excel and GIS mapping
  • Database development and management
  • Statistical analysis and data manipulation
  • Report writing, formatting and proof reading
  • Community consultation and engagement

Organisation related:

  • Marketing, communications and copywriting
  • Design
  • Business planning and performance
  • Finance
  • HR
  • Legal
  • Office admin
