Salary: £22,000 to £29,000 depending on experience

We are looking for experienced carbon consultants to join our small innovative consultancy. As part of our team you will develop regional research projects, climate change strategies, energy scenarios and CHP/renewables feasibility studies our public, private and third sector clients. You will have a real opportunity to shape the way in which climate change is addressed in the UK as you work with our clients to reduce carbon emissions.
We are looking for consultants with a proven track record of delivering high quality projects on time and on budget. You will be a self motivated, with a methodical approach, attention to detail and excellent time management skills. You will need to be a creative thinker with a high level of numeracy, report writing skills and advanced computing skills in Excel, Access and Word. You will have a background in data gathering, manipulation and interrogation and be able to draw robust conclusions and innovative recommendations from this work. You will bring an in-depth understanding of European, national and local regulation, best practice and funding opportunities across buildings, energy generation and transport.
Analysis underpinning Friends of the Earth Get Serious Campaign, South East Regional Carbon Reduction Study, Carbon Reduction Pathways for Five Core Cities, South West Carbon Reduction Pathway Analysis, South Bank Employers Group Energy Audits, Islington Climate Change Partnership Supporting Large Emitters, feasibility research projects such as biogas potential and PV optimisation.
